Chelsea earned a 4-1 victory against Spanish side Real Betis in the final on Wednesday night, despite having trailed 1-0 at half-time.

Cole Palmer set up goals for Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson in a six-minute second half spell to turn the match into the Blues’ favour.

Prior to the match, the two groups of supporters are thought to have become involved in a series of ugly confrontations.

Riot police were deployed to the streets as fans from both clubs wreaked havoc in Wroclaw, Poland.

The fan in question claims that after getting caught up in one of the violent clashes,  he was swiftly detained by authorities and spent the next five days locked in a jail cell without access to news or updates – only learning of Chelsea’s victory after his release on Sunday morning.

He said: ‘I have just been released from Polish jail. Just found out that Chelsea won the Conference League.

‘Polish police have sucked me for all my money. I’ve been in there for four days, five days, over a petty little fight with these Betis fans.

‘I’m in Wroclaw, no money, just my backpack and the stuff that I bought with me apart from the money that I had.

‘I don’t really know how I’m getting home to be honest. At least Chelsea won the f*****g Conference League, as I’ve just found out.

‘7 o’clock in the morning, five days later, just released me, today’s Sunday, the game was on Wednesday.

‘They kept me in there for a fight. So let’s see how I get home. I don’t know.’

Voctoru in Poland ensured Chelsea became the first team to win the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
