Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is being targeted by Napoli as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his squad which won Serie A.
The 25-year-old joined Chelsea’s academy in 2007 and made his international debut on Tuesday night as England fell to a 3-1 defeat to Senegal.
Chalobah was sent on loan to Crystal Palace at the beginning of last season but was recalled to Stamford Bridge midway through the campaign.
He impressed Enzo Maresca and started seven of Chelsea’s final nine Premier League games as they finished in fourth place, securing Champions League qualification for the first time in three years.
The Englishman is being hunted by Napoli, according to Sky Sports, and is seen as someone who could strengthen the Italian champions as they look to retain the league next season and compete in latter stages of the Champions League.
However, Bologna centre-back Sam Beukema is viewed as their primary option.

Former Chelsea boss Conte is reportedly interested in bringing the defender to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, but Chelsea are not actively looking to sell him.
The Blues, who jet to the US this week to take part in the Club World Cup, are unable to provide Chalobah with guaranteed first-team football.
A move to Naples would see him reunited with former Chelsea academy star Billy Gilmour.
While Scott McTominay, another ex-Premier League player, was named Serie A player of the season after a scintillating debut campaign under Conte.
Asked about his future, Chalobah, who has also played for Ipswich, Huddersfield, and Lorient, said: ‘For me, I just have to focus on the now, leave all the noise out there that is surrounding me and my future.’

The Belgian will fly to Naples on Thursday for his medical and to take the formal steps needed to confirm his move from Manchester City.
De Bruyne is leaving the Etihad Stadium after 10 years of legendary service, with his contract up on June 30.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Napoli will have the option to extend his contract by a year if they like what they see.
