Harry Kane finally won a trophy as Bayern Munich became German championsEnglish striker and Co danced the night away and puffed on cigars in celebrationLISTEN NOW: It’s All Kicking Off! Arsenal need to sign players for the here and now to win the Premier League… so, should they sign Harry Kane?

Harry Kane and his Bayern Munich team-mates were ‘blocked from celebrating their Bundesliga triumph in Ibiza’.

Vincent Kompany’s men were confirmed as German champions when Bayer Leverkusen drew with Freiburg on Sunday.

It meant Kane won his first piece of silverware in his career, ending a drought of 5,223 days and he made sure to celebrate in style.

He partied in a swanky restaurant on the outskirts of town, belted out Queen and Sweet Caroline alongside Eric Dier and even puffed on a chunky cigar.

But the players’ original plan had been to jet to Ibiza to revel in the nightlife of the famous Balearic island, according to the Sun.

That was deemed a step too far for Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, who said it would not be appropriate, particularly with the game against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.

There was plenty of time for champagne, too, as they celebrated winning the Bundesliga title

Instead, the closest the squad came was playing the Venga Boys’, ‘We’re going to Ibiza’ at their own shindig.

They danced the night away until around 1:30am before heading their separate ways and no doubt there will be plenty more celebrations in the pipeline.

Afterwards, Kane wrote: ‘What a night and what a celebration with the players and the staff.

‘I am sure everyone is feeling it a little bit.

‘It has been a long time coming after a lot of hard work and a lot of dedication and it just feels sweet to win the title, the first one of my career.’

No doubt Kane will be walking a little lighter now the monkey is off his back and nobody can point to his empty trophy cabinet.

He has been a key man for Kompany’s side and provided the consistent goal threat that has come to be expected.

Kane has scored 24 goals this season in the Bundesliga and may not hit the mark of 36 he netted last term.

But that will matter little after the heartbreak of losing out to Leverkusen in 2023-24, he has a major trophy to help decorate his brilliant career.
