Eric Dier is in talks over a move to Monaco.

The 31-year old is out of contract at Bayern Munich this summer and had been discussing an extension but Monaco are understood to be willing to offer a much longer deal.

The former Tottenham and England centre back had interest from Monaco prior to his move to the Bundesliga.

Monaco are offering a deal until 2028 with an option for a further year.

Dier has made 25 appearances this season and scored in Bayern’s Champions League exit to Inter Milan. He scored again in last weekend’s 3-0 win over Mainz.

After 10 years of donning the white shirt of Tottenham, Dier made the switch to Bavaria in January 2024.
