French wonderkid Enzo Kana-Biyik has reportedly agreed to join Manchester United this summer upon the expiry of his contract at Le Havre.

The 18-year-old striker is a highly rated prospect but chose not to extended his deal at the Normandy club.

Earlier this week, Mail Sport reported that talks between Kana-Biyik and the Old Trafford club were advancing.

And now, according to Le Parisien, the player and his family have made the decision to make the move to United.

Le Havre had been holding out hope that he would extend his deal to develop further with the relegation-threatened Ligue 1 side.

But the son of Cameroon legend André Kana-Biyik is now expected to move to the Premier League.

The report claims he has been presented with clear plans to progress but will spend the first season out on loan at Lausanne-Sport, another INEOS-owned club in Switzerland.

The Paris-born forward is yet to make a senior appearance in Ligue 1 but scored eight goals in 14 games in the Championnat National U19 competition.

United are also in the market for a striker who can improve the side in the immediate future, with Ruben Amorim’s men edging closer to a deal for Wolves’ Matheus Cunha.

United need to activate the Brazilian’s £62.5million release clause but are hopeful of having terms in place by next month.

Amorim has made no secret of his admiration for Cunha, praising his versatility and goals output.

The United manager was also spotted in conversation with Cunha after United and Wolves met at Molineux and again in the tunnel at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Owing to PSR, finances are at a premium for Amorim, and further recruitment plans will hinge on sales and whether they can qualify for Europe.
